ShortPoint for SAP is now available at SAPStore.com
As we have recently announced, ShortPoint is now available for the SAP HANA Cloud Platform, Portal Services, developed by the market leader in enterprise application software SAP. You can now try and buy ShortPoint directly from SAPStore.com.
This is huge news for us, as it represents another step in our mission to provide a simple and intuitive web design platform for companies worldwide, to increase collaboration and productivity among employees. But let’s take a look at how it all started and what will be the next steps in our journey to success with SAP.
The first startup in MENA to be validated by SAP Startup Focus
At the end of September 2015, the SAP Training and Development Institute organized the first SAP Startup Focus Event in Dubai, which is a part of the global Startup Focus Program. The program’s mission is to provide startups with free access to tools, support, and training to develop innovations on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform. Startups that are part of this program can market their product to an ecosystem of 2 million people and 310,000 customers in 190 countries.
Currently, the SAP Startup Focus Program supports more than 3,400 startups worldwide, out of which only 200 have been selected for SAP’s Go-To-Market program. And we are proud to say that ShortPoint is now one of them! In fact, we are the first startup in the Middle East and North Africa to reach this stage with SAP.
This was an incredibly important moment, not only because it helped us enter the fast-growth UAE market and beyond, but also because it offered world-class support and access on an easy-to-use open platform for us to continue developing our product.
As a result, back in May 2016, we were invited to speak at the second Startup Focus Event in Dubai, supported by the in5 Innovation Center. We shared our story about integrating ShortPoint with the SAP HANA Cloud Platform, Portal Services, which enables users to design modern business sites in just a few minutes, even if they don’t have coding or technical skills.

The Road to SAPPHIRE
Another positive result for us was the fact that the SAP HANA Cloud Platform, Portal Services team presented ShortPoint live on stage at SAP’s annual SAPPHIRE NOW conference in Orlando, Florida.
SAPPHIRE is an annual event where business and IT executives from around the world can learn more about new SAP products and roadmaps. This year, the event was organized in association with ASUG, an independent, not-for-profit organization of SAP customer companies and qualified third-party vendors.
The present of high standards
ShortPoint for SAP has recently become officially certified by SAP’s Integration and Certification Center (ICC). The mission of ICC is to facilitate seamless integration of SAP partner software, while also helping SAP Partners to accelerate the market ramp-up cycle, leverage SAP branding and momentum, shorten implementation times and lower integration costs. We are now part of a high-quality SAP ecosystem of partner solutions that contribute to the overall value proposition and innovation sources for their customers.
And even more important, the ShortPoint is now available in the SAP Store worldwide for all SAP HANA Cloud Platform customers.
The future of global markets
Another exciting news for us is that, following our close collaboration with the SAP HANA Cloud Portal team in the past year, this month we have been invited to participate at SAP TechED Barcelona, the premier technology event for learning, networking, training, and education on the SAP platform and technologies. We were thrilled to participate and talk about what we do and the value of our product.

The fact that we are now a certified partner and we participate in global events organized by SAP proves the quality of our product, as well as the fact that our global vision is validated by well-established companies in the industry.
