What’s New?

A Brand New Way to Request New Features

Finally! A smarter way to request new features is here.
We decided to move away from the forum and provide you with a simpler, more interactive and user-friendly way to request new features from ShortPoint.

Welcome to our new Feature Request Platform! Check what other users are asking for, vote for previous requests or add your unique one. You will be able to see the progress of the features you’re interested in and get notified when the feature is released.

Also, if you request a feature via email or phone call, our experts will put it here on your behalf, so you can track it easily.

We can’t wait to implement more of your fantastic ideas to life.

Support Tip of the Month

You Can Contribute to Faster Support

Good support is speedy support. At ShortPoint, we value your time and try to answer your questions as soon as we can. Did you know that you can help us be even faster?  For that, you can send in additional materials in your initial ticket submission.

How?

If you have a problem with a design on your page, you can attach your page code for us to review. To do that, please:

    1. Copy and Paste in ShortPoint Page Builder Live ModeOpen the page where the issue is happening in Chrome. Make sure the page is in View Mode. Also, make sure it is fully loaded.
    2. Copy and PasPress CTRL+S (Windows) or Command+S (Mac) combination on your keyboard. A window will pop up suggesting you to save a copy of your page.
    3. Copy and Paste in ShortPoint Legacy Page Select Webpage, HTML Only option. Save the page to a convenient location on your computer.
    4. Attach the file to your initial ticket request.

What happens after we receive the file?

ShortPoint support experts use a tool called ShortPoint Extractor that transforms the saved HTML code from your page to ShortPoint Page Builder and Theme Builder code. After extracting that code we are able to put it into our local SharePoint environment for testing. This way, we will be able to see your problem in our environment and have better ideas on how to help without asking you too many questions.

The Faces of ShortPoint

Meet Lina, Our Senior UI/UX Designer 🎨

Designers have fun and colorful personalities, don’t you agree? This month, we will introduce you to one of the creative brains that drive the gorgeous and intuitive product design and more at ShortPoint. Let’s get to know more about Lina, our Senior UI/UX Designer, who hails from Dnipro, Ukraine.

Lina dips her fingers into a lot of projects at ShortPoint. She mainly designs the UI/UX of cool new features of the product and she also creates animations, graphics, and other collaterals for marketing campaigns. Her work never gets boring as she dives into a variety of things in her job. What she treasures most while working at ShortPoint is the family she found in the people she works with. For her, it doesn’t matter if she is in good or bad times in her life, she always feels support and empathy from her colleagues.

All of Lina’s free time outside of work is spent with her husband, Pavlo, and her 3-year-old son, Denis. She adores playing lego with Denis, running around with him in a playground, joining him in painting coloring books, and more. These activities make her go back to her childhood and remember great memories as a kid. When she finds some me-time, she likes to read, watch a movie on Netflix, draw sketches and watch educational videos about nature and Earth. She also enjoys skiing in winter and riding a bike or going kayaking in summer.

To prove that Lina is all about fun and creativity, you have to know that she is a champion table soccer (widely known as foosball) player. She was a frontwoman in a rock band, although they did not get to play in their own concert, and she can dance in pointe shoes owing to her experience from childhood. No wonder ShortPoint designs, in whatever form or function, also bring you fun and inspires creativity.
